Cold Plunging Equipment

We are Coold Collab: a cold plunge equipment rental service in Vancouver, BC and specialize in collaboration & community events to bring the cold plunge experience to local communities!

The equipment needed for cold plunging can vary depending on personal preferences and the specific setup you have access to. Here are some common items that people use for cold plunging:

  1. Cold water source: You'll need access to a cold water supply, such as a bathtub, a cold-water pool, a natural body of cold water like a lake or river, or even a specialized cold plunge pool or tub designed for this purpose.

  2. Thermometer: A thermometer can be useful to monitor and ensure that the water temperature falls within the desired range for cold plunging, typically between 50°F (10°C) and 60°F (15.6°C).

  3. Timer: Having a timer or a stopwatch can help you keep track of the time you spend in the cold water. This allows you to gradually increase your exposure over time, starting with shorter durations and gradually extending them as you acclimate to the cold.

  4. Cold plunge pool or tub (optional): If you have the means and prefer a dedicated setup, you can invest in a specialized cold plunge pool or tub. These are specifically designed for cold water immersion and often come with built-in temperature controls.

At Coold, the equipment we provide to ensure you have a smooth & memorable cold plunging experience includes: stainless steel stock tanks, ice, and all the necessary accessories (e.g. ice buckets, hoses, timers, thermometers, and more!).
